We are excited to announce that the 'National Institutional Ranking Framework India rankings 2024' has been officially released by Honorable Sh. Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Education, Government of India, on August 12, 2024. We are proud to share that all of the top ten institutions in the rankings are members of our Indian Members’ Council!

Congratulations to our esteemed member, IIT Madras, for securing the top position in the overall category of the NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) rankings followed by Indian Institute of Science (2) , IIT Bombay (3), IIT Delhi (4), IIT Kanpur (5), IIT Kharagpur (6), All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi (7), IIT Roorkee(8), IIT Guwahati (9) and Jawaharlal Nehru University(10).

Furthermore, we are thrilled to report that 65 institutions from the top 100 in the NIRF rankings for 2024 are part of SICI’s network. Our heartfelt congratulations to all our member institutions for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the education sector.

On August 14th, we observe Partition Horrors Remembrance Day. This day is dedicated to honoring the victims and recognizing the deep suffering caused by the Partition of India. Join us in commemorating their memory and reflecting on this pivotal chapter in history.

To highlight the suffering of those affected by the Partition, the National School of Drama (NSD) has curated a play.
