CU plans to feature the honorary doctorate recipients as part of CU Celebrate, a virtual celebration of its graduates. Besides being a virtual convocation, CU considers it as an opportunity to recognize its 6,244 new graduates from Concordia鈥檚 four faculties and the School of Graduate studies. The honorary degree recipients represent STEM outreach, sustainable industry, Indigenous language preservation, journalism and modern dance. It鈥檚 noteworthy that听Dr Vikas Swarup, Secretary (West), Ministry of External Affairs, Govt of India听and a well-wisher of SICI, is one of the honorands receiving honorary doctorate degree from CU.
